Man, this is such a terrible tragedy.

These footballers could have been anything, but instead they committed a petty crime. They could have had their lives ahead of them, perhaps even playing friendlies against top notch sides from the West. But instead of killing David Beckham, they had to resort to killing some guy from Sharjah.

Such a shame..

It's a complete waste of a perfectly good murder. :shifty:

They would be freed if the deceased family desicde to pardon them. Of course this is a complex emotional decision, but it is valid.

If the family pardons them, then they should also kill the family of the murdered guy.

Wait, they will actually be free and let to continue living normal if the family pardons them?

Alen.. They wont be free at once but I think they will have to pay blood-money. If I am not mistaken.
They have to pay the blood money to the family of the murdered guy and they'll be free. The strange part is not this one though. I'm not sure about the other Islamic countries but in Iran if you kill someone and you sentence to death the family of the one who's been murdered will have to pay the blood-money of YOU (the murderer) to your family and then you'll be executed. But if the murdered guy's family pardon you, your family have to pay the blood-money and you'll be free :shifty:

No it doesn't. In many cases the family of the murdered are so poor to pay the money blood to the family of the murderer and they're forced to pardon the guy. You kill a poor guy, his family are not capable to pay the money-blood of you, they pardon you; No imprisonment, no penalty, nothing. Welcome back to the normal life.

That's pretty insane. Can't believe how barbaric those sort of laws are.
