Imagine if he had just added a buy back clause or sent him on loan for a year.

Wouldn't have been hard to find a club that would of accepted these conditions and don't tell me we were desperate for quick cash. We threw money around last summer like it was nothing.

But is he worth 60 mil ? It’s a lot of money for a cb - haven’t seen much of him but there he also had some mediocre games too. He scored alot though

We should also consider that if he had stayed at Juve, he likely would never have reached his current level. Under Motta, he probably would’ve been benched behind players like Kalulu and Gatti. Just like Fagioli or Yildez or many other players, who were being mismanaged, Huijsen likely wouldn’t have gotten any real playing time, wouldn’t have developed, and we might have ended up selling him for a much lower price this season.

I'd imagine he wouldn't have too much trouble getting playing time when his competition is cabal, savona and smelly

If he would have stayed with us Bremer wouldn't have gotten injured and he would have warmed the bench with Gatti and Kalulu being ahead of him in the pecking order to partner Bremer. He would have played some Coppa matches and the odd match when one of the starters were suspended.

That's how things work out usually.
