“Honestly, I never wanted to leave. It wasn’t my choice. During the first days of preparation at Continassa, the management and Thiago Motta told me they needed to raise funds with my sale and that I had to find a solution.”

To raise funds for who? Di Gregorio?

So we sold this guy for less than what we paid for another goalkeeper we didn't need

We sold a player who was actually good with his feet that club can use for a player that so far has not shown he is good with feet

Probably Todibo. At the time there is news and rumour about PSG interested with him and then go sign with Bournemouth, we are in process negotiating for Todibo.

When Huijsen was sold, then there is news we almost close to sign Todibo, but then West Ham double Todibo's salary offer and better terms obligation to buy for Nice.

he looked talented but shaky, especially at roma, and he looked like a guy who's about to ask for a transfer any day, so i wasn't too concerned about letting him go. i didn't think he was this good already

In all fairness, even maldini would look shaky in Roma
