His satisfaction with the contract renewal, the next clash against Inter, the championship finale, the duel with Milan… This afternoon, Paolo De Ceglie spoke about several topics as special guest at ‘Filo Diretto’ on Juventus Channel.

“The renewal was a memorable day, because I can say that my dream continues. The chance to wear this shirt has always represented for me the top opportunity. I’m very excited if I think about both recent and future years. I love Juventus, this side is absolutely the top and I feel strong emotions when I’m involved with this colours…”

The contract signing represented an extra spur, even ahead of the clash against Inter. Honestly, Paolo didn’t need it because he’s always played great matches against the Nerazzurri since when he featured in the Youth Sector. For example, in 2006/07 season, even if De Ceglie joined the First Team, he scored a hat trick against Inter in the Primavera Super Cup, and scored one goal in Coppa Italia. No trophy will be awarded on Sunday, but Juventus will play for high stakes: “Each game against Inter is always a big match – explained Paolo – therefore we’ll be absolutely motivated to do well and clinch a victory. Certainly, when we play Milan and Inter who are Juventus’ historic rivals, motivations easily arise and we don’t need to seek them.”

Moreover, playing at Juventus Stadium gives a special drive: “Having our fans so close is always a great spur to give our all. The stadium is very important and our public can be decisive.”

Paolo and his team-mates will get on the pitch after the end of Milan v Roma: “Milan will be quite tired after the Coppa Italia clash, and Roma are in very good form. Both sides can win, the match is absolutely open.”

Juventus will have two months to make a great season really unique: “The championship finale needs to be in-line with our performances shown so far. We must continue to give our all and impose our way of playing. And then we’ll see what we’ll achieve. There are ten games left and several points to get, everything can happen.”

In the meantime, the Bianconeri went through to the Coppa Italia final, a very important fixture for them: “For me getting through to the final with the First Team is something new. This will be my chance to take part in Juventus’ legend.”
