well ian your right. tacc isnt really dynamic, and tudor isnt a complete midfielder. we have neddy and zambo though. both who can play in central midfield, but neither of whom have shown great promise while playing there. then we have baiocco, and camo.

...sweet sweet dreams......just sweet sweet dreams
I like your thinking, but Kewell is not a central mid-fielder. I'm thinking something more like this:

-Zamby---Van der Vaart---Brighi----Kewell-

--------------------------Nedved---------------

Now there is no doubt.

Apparently after firendly Lazio-Juve Lippi and Davids had a confrontation that almost got physical. Davids was really upset to Lippi for not using him more often. Thanks to some players the argument didn't get further.

Lippi is really tired of Davids temper and asked Juve to sold him asap. Anyway Juve doesn't want to sell Davids cheap and if they don't get the desired price they would even make Davids stay without making him play.

Datasport.it source.

so there you go...

Now there is almost 0 chances for Davids to stay at Juve.

I told you guys. Davids is a time bomb. You never know when is gonna go off. If he wants to leave the best thing is to let him go. Davids temper could destroy Juve's locker room spirit.

I luv the player and I wish he would want to stay but unfortunately having an unhappy Davids is not the best thing.

Why do you automatically consider this to be the truth? Papers want to sell and Internet sites need traffic to survive, of course they want to jump on to the Davids saga.

I'm not saying its not true, I'm just saying that i won't judge a player based on something I read in the newspaper.

Lippi, explains about Davids
06 09 2002 !

About the news claimed yesterday, about a supposed discussion with Edgar Davids after last Saturday's Lazio-Juventus, Marcello Lippi explained: "The only physical contact I got with Davids after the Rome match was a handshake to wish him 'Good luck' for the match with his national team".

that could be lippi trying to cover up under direction of the board.
Yes and I definitely agree. Juventus never makes public this things. Also Lippi in the past had very harsh confrontations with Deschamps,Conte and Vieri but Juventus never made that public which I think is the correct thing to do.

Davids will not be leaving, it wouldn't make any sense, because Roma is the only team willing to pay a lot of money, and we don't want to strengthen their team.

Got this off soccernet:

"Unsettled Juventus midfielder Edgar David's is on the verge of a £18million move to Serie A rivals Roma.

The Dutch international has had a number of run-ins with Juve coach Marcelo Lippi and is keen to quit the Delle Alpi for the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma have recently signed a deal to make Mazda their new shirt sponsors and the car company are expected to provide around £11million of the transfer fee.

Roma have been in constant talks for the 29-year-old with Serie Champions Juve, but the two clubs had previously been unable to agree a fee because Davids is ineligible to play in the Champions League.

If Roma sign Davids it will be a much-needed boost for the deposed champions, who have lost the services of Francesco Totti for the start of the season.

With the start of the Italian season delayed further he was expected to return for the opening match, but late September now looks the likely return date.

'He is not fit enough yet, and he won't be on the field for the start of the season,' said coach Fabio Capello"

:sigh:
