The Juventus jersey is starting to feel more and more like my second skin. It doesn't matter whether I play on the left wing or on the right wing, as I can play in both positions and just want to play. That's exactly the spirit mister Del Neri wants to see from us day in, day out.
I want to specialise in one position now and I feel like a role on the outside of the midfield fits my abilities best at this point of my career. I believe that my performance in the second leg of our Europa League tie with Shamrock Rovers in Modena, a 1-0 win courtesy of an Alessandro del Piero strike, was an improvement compared to the first leg and the whole team put in a strong performance.
We now desperately need a good result against Sturm Graz to make it to the group stage of the Europa League. On Friday, two important tests already await us against Inter and Milan for the 'Trofeo Tim'. The games will be played in Bari and we will do our utmost to win those games. I always say: "Winning helps you to win even more...."
I'd also like to use this diary to congratulate my team-mates who have been called up for the national side by mister Prandelli for the upcoming international friendly against Cote d'Ivoire. This is extra motivation for me and I hope to make it into the Squadra Azzurra myself one day.
A hug to all Juventus fans and I expect to see a lot of you because Juventus, now an Agnelli has returned as president of the club, will return to Villar Perosa on August 24 for the annual friendly against the Bianconera Primavera.
