Is it just me or does this move highlight a lack of foresight or perhaps, a lack of knowledge? I say that because it should have been obvious to everyone who isn't a muppet that a 3 man midfield was going to be used with Pirlo, not a 2 man midfield. The club could have brought in some inexpensive quality in the summer (Gago - free loan then 4m, or even Nocerino - 500k) instead of this patch-work move now.

Why are we willing to take some of Roma's trash? If they want to dump their trash on us then we should give them some of our trash in return. Put Amauri in the deal.

He is not trash, best regista in Serie A for several years running (over our current Pirlo). If he is trash, then so is Pirlo, because sitaution he is in is identical to Pirlo's in Milan, injured mostly and ignored by his new coach. Difference being it has been so for Pizzaro half a season, not a year and half like Pirlo.

 Good stuff. Pizarro seems to be the kind of player people easily forget about or simply don't notice, which is rather odd. I'd take him on loan for the rest of the season, because we definitely need another capable midfielder who can cover for Pirlo.

He's not a dream signing, also because of his age, but damn.. on a loan in January, this would be a sweet deal for us.
