Have seen this a few times on various social media platforms over the last few days. Our boy’s finally made it big, although as a meme that seems to have no idea of who he is

Posted previously thought Rugs was surplus for us and okay to move on from him but seeing the crap on our backline, WTF, let's bring him back and see what he can do.

Imagine getting a call up to the national team when you only played 7 games in a season with... Ajax
But almost all games he started is a win (5 matches). 2 other matches :
1. against Sparta, Ajax conceded on direct free kick. and they returned to scored 1-1 at full time
2. against NEC, until 59 mins he played score still 0-0. He subbed out then they lost 0-3.

And he dont play again in the last 2 matches even when they could need to defend a score against Groningen. Groningen scored to be 2-2 and Ajax lost the title

I've never seen Rugani as a bad defender. He might not be world-class, but he’s always been calm on the ball, reliable, and rarely error-prone. Maybe if he'd joined a team like Lazio or Fiorentina instead of spending years behind Juve’s backline, his career would’ve taken a different turn. In my opinion, aside from all the media hype, De Ligt didn’t really offer anything more than Rugani defensively. Still, Italian defenders often come into their own after 30, just look at Barzagli, who only really shined later on. I really hope he stays and finally gets the trust he deserves. Honestly, he’s way more dependable than guys like Kelly.

But doesnt have the pace to follow along faster players. And you need the pace to keep a high backline. And you need a high backline to keep a high pressure. And you need a high pressure to keep the possession. And you need the possession to control the match. Kelly has pace. Rugani dont. End of story.

Even weirder they had an Italian coach.
