Keep hold of him, after 30 he will become world class. There is an elite defender very deep in there, anyone could see it if they watch him vs Roma in 2017.
Well TBF he gets much hate for the mistake vs Villareal, but really it was 1 on 1 in our penalty area, things like this can lead to penalty no matter what defender u have.
How many penalties in easier situation has for exampled Bonucci conceded? plenty of them.
And if anything he has lately been showing that he can play for a team which is fighting for a 4th spot in the league and he did look good for us.

Yep. Even Chiellini made some of these in crucial matches before. The ones to blame really were the ones upfront who failed to score a single goal up to conceding that penalty.

#Juventus could offer #Rugani a 1-yr extension on his current contract with a reduced salary.

€2M or he can gtfo too
Currently he is, believe it or not, in the 29 best paid players in Serie A in gross wages.

https://www.capology.com/it/serie-a/salaries/

He has been overpaid for 2-3 years, now it's time to offer him a 1M salary net. It's more than enough for a player in his quality range, and if you look what other mediocre Italians make, it's actually still a good salary. No one will offer him 2M net, if someone does, I would personally drive him there. I don't see why we should overpay him again tbh

So basically instead of 2 years on 3.5m Rugani should sign a 3 year contract on 2m? Cherubini did well with Perin, but he's not that good :D
3.5 net is ~6.5 gross, that's ~13 total
2m net for 3 years is ~11

lower amount spread over more years (plus lower amortization too, an other few hundred thousands, can't be bothered to calculate it). remember when beppe extended with martinez? we'd save a fortune compared to that

baby steps

My point was why would Rugani sign for less money over a longer period of time? :D Youd have to put a gun to his head or smth

They tried the same trick with Cuadrado but he refused it.
That was strange too

perin agreed to a lower salary, berna would agree too if he had an offer. mds is offered a lower salary too and he's likely to stay. it is what it is, football and juve's position changed, some of these people aren't completely out of touch with reality.

rugani probably knows what kind of offers he had when he was on the market last season. either he accepts the offer or bene forces him out asap. :boh:
