guy who could not play for rennes and cagliari will be playing for us this season.
He didn’t play for Rennes because he was injured not because he couldn’t get into the team.
Can’t say he’s injury prone as to my knowledge he’s largely stayed fit (possibly correlated to the fact he has played minimal first team football).

Not denying the fact he is piss poor but the Rennes fact you state isn’t correct I believe.

Juventus are not looking for a new centre-back after Merih Demiral’s departure, as Tuttosport reports Max Allegri counts on Daniele Rugani.
Rugani, who spent last season on loan with Stade Rennais and Cagliari, has returned to Continassa ahead of the new season and is in the matchday squad for the game against Barcelona tonight.
The Bianconeri seemed set to make a move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, who is reportedly heading to West Ham United and Tuttosport believes the idea is now to keep Rugani.
Rugani will be the fourth central defender behind Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt at the Allianz Stadium and Allegri has already assured him of a place in his plans at the Old Lady.
The 27-year-old arrived at Juventus from Empoli in June 2015 and his contract with the Bianconeri expires in June 2023.
Rugani has appeared 101 times for Juventus, contributing seven goals and one assist in the process.

Had a terrible nightmare last night that Rugani completed the full pre season and stayed as a Juventus player next year. He then went on to be a key player in our securing of Europa League qualification after Chiellini’s injury

Like someone said earlier, this guy couldn't even start for mid-table Italian and French teams. Now we gave him a chance again.

Already or still 27 years old. Damn no idea what to say about this guy, but his mistake for the first goal yesterday, so amateurish. Should we be worried? As long as Bonu and De ligt are available I don't think so, it's just a fourth CB and sometimes he shows some glimpses of abilities. IMO as 4th choice Demiral would be a bigger question mark, Merit needs to be played regularly in order to show his best.
