1.5m is not a joke at all, paying this fee and his whole wage is a big thing for a club like Rennes. For us it means we are saving like like 6 m in his wages and getting 1.5m extra.
Finally it also means Demiral is safe. Now get that Chiesa guy.
moar man!
Rugani is on 3.5m after tax meaning around 7m gross detract the scudetto bonus which he usually got in the last years.
So it's what? 8m less in wages for us +1.5m as money for loan
Ideally it would've been better to sell but better thank keeping him here to play Coppa Italia

Damn how costly some of these players are. Means also that Rugani alone pays for Chiesa loan fee and if Daniele suceeds there we can get another 10m+ from the actual fee. Now do the same with MdS and sell Costa.

He doesn't go to a mid table English club or a decent Serie A club, he goes to Rennes. That's how good this guy is, that's why we kept him here for so long.

If we could only get 1.5m and a dry loan it just shows how far this guy has fallen. Yes covid has raped clubs of funds but I dont think we would have got much more for him under normal circumstances.

Or
So we finally managed to get rid of this jabroni.
Too bad it's just for one season.
Who knows maybe he does well and we finally manage to sell him on.
...or maybe he plays really well and proves himself and returns. Chiellini and bonucci won't be around forever...of course he needs to prove himself.

Nah. Demiral and de ligt is the future.
The only thing rugano has proven time and time again is that he is not Juve material.

Good luck to him.

For the first time in 5 seasons he will be playing regularly. Sitting on the bench learning from Chiellini and Barzagli was fine for a year but it went on 4 years to long and has done nothing for him.

Hopefully he can improve by playing every week.

He should have forced his exit at the end of the 2nd year when he saw he was not going to get playtime.

Also his fault for being so comformist in earning a big check at the expense of his career
