He may not be the answer, but we need to give him a try and show some faith.

Thought he had a couple of good games for Italy in the International break against decent teams. I don't see why he can't do that for us.

Yeah, but obviously Licht hasn't been particularly good for the most part (clearly behind DeSciglio).

Allegri has also left Steph out of the group stages 2 seasons in a row. We definitely need another RB.

Also, Rugani should have started today. For sure.

It’s shame Allegri has stunted his growth these last three years smh.
He has had plenty of playing time, but for most of us, I think that playing time came at the wrong time in the wrong matches. It's one thing to play against the Beneventos and SPALs of the world but its another when you have your 2nd oldest player playing the GOAT in our most crucial match that has people confused.

The kid's development has been fine, guys. He's played well when called upon, and been in a winning environment learning from a couple of legends. He's getting called up by the national team. He's fine.

Have a little patience. Also, this talk of him going somewhere else is utterly ridiculous. There have never been any legitimate suggestions that might occur, from either side. Just a few rags linking him to Arsenal every once in awhile, because they're trying to sell papers.

Rugani is doing just fine, he'll play more soon, things at the back (especially at CB) look pretty good for the future, all things considered. Gotta get a RB.

What u guys expect Allegri to do? We should not have signed Benatia then.

Its obv if all are fit we start Benatia-Chiellini.

You expected Rugani to bench any of our defenders last summer?

Sure he could do with more minutes but who rotates defense weekly? Most teams play a regular pairing. You dont just swap your CBs every week.

Barza should retire though now. So that makes Rugani first sub in for Benatia-Chiellinj.

We cant ignore of course that Chiellini will be 35 next year.

But yoy can see why Rugani didnt play yesterday as well. Imagine he played and it still went horribly wrong.

The bigger issue is in the system of calcio. Italians value experience and they dont call it a day at right time. Same happened to Cannavaro post 2008. He was liability going into 2010 world cup. Didnt we finish 7th but he was still good enough to start?

Its the past service and success. Italians dont know when to call it a day. Its happening now witg Barza and Buffon who hold on to win that last silverware.
