i think he is doing fine for 4th choice centrre back. what you want is reliable, and he has been reliable.
Agree.

Note, in the coming 12 to 18 months chiellini is gone, Mdl will be sold and bonucci will only struggle as he gets older. Rugani finding form suddenly becomes more important because let's face it, we ain't buying world class CBs anytime soon to replace them.

The beauty of playing in your own box for the whole season is that the market value of your 4th choice CBs will rise from 0M to 5M.
We all knew what Allegri's comeback meant in terms of playing style and approach to games.

The difference here is obviously Rugani who somehow matured a bit. In Allegri's first stint he looked completely hopeless.

Our CB's don't get exposed much because they always have 5 or 6 fellow team members around them. So Rugani can do fine in this set up. Throw him in a side like Leeds and it will be what you'd expect.
