Being an Italia buy always gave him the benefit of doubt he become productive but don't see it happening. Maybe the 2nd goal no fault of his but why be so far up field at that point of the match.

He is the worst Juve defender I have seen. Legrotagglie/ferrara on 2003-2004 is bad but not as garbage as him now.
boumsong, knezevic, traoré, motta, lucio etc were a lot worse.

rugani isn't a bad player, but he's weak against big strikers, and completely lost all confidence. we should have sold him to chelsea when we had the opportunity.

At the time, he had the potential to become a great Italian defender so we didn't accept Chelsea's offer. It's life. Sometimes we get it right, the other times we don't.

I don't think Arteta would want him considering he like defenders who can play the ball out of defence and can play a high line.
