I think that Moggi is wondering why he sold Maresca??? Maybe to score 2 goals and sets one up :D

And yes D. Alves was very good in tonight's game, let's not speak is he good enough for Juve or not, let's just say that he played reallay good match.

I also liked Adriano, he played especially good in first half.

Couldnt agree any less with the title of this thread, Alves is exactly what we need, he can go up defend well and cross well too. I say no more about this guy, his a MUST. The best thing about maresca is that even in an average game he still ends up scoring or causing enough problems for the opposition, a silent killer would be the best description for seville his scored the most crucialist of goals, his certainly the type of player we miss, we dont have our DM going up and actually scoring or even assisting. I like him, always have but I dont believe he would come to use, we messed him around the fans have always loved him and always will. I personally was suprised by navas's quality his a class act infact in my eyes the most dangerous player on the pitch. Although we may be pretty much okay on our right wing, Sevillas left winger was brilliant too Olivera is the player who alongside Alves I would like at Juve. Only these two, the rest are either unrealistic or either just wont come.

Totally agree, he would benefit the national team. Sevilla are still in contention of the champions league spot therefore he aint exactly playing for a crap club. He is also there top scorer alongside kanoute.

My guess is that Moggi sold Maresca because Capello only plays with defensive centre midfielders. Juve management should feel like idiots. They got rid of Tacchinardi and Maresca to bring in Giannichedda and Blasi. Gianni and Blasi have been useless while Tacchi and Enzo have been playing very well.

He's a typical Brazilian full back. Explosive in attack but not so good when defending. See Bob Carlos, Cafu, Cicinho and the like.
As you guys already said Roberto Carlos is way overrated and I don't like Cicinho, well not as a fullback, he's more of an attacking midfielder kinda like Mancini. Cafu was still pretty solid at defending, especially in his prime, when he almost ran nonstop during an entire match.
