This team needs to be able to score at least 3-4 goals against the clubs from pots 3 and 4 in the group stage of CL like the big clubs do. That has been very frustrating over the last 4 years in the CL and it cost us the group last year. Outside of the Sevilla game at home, we scored 1 goal against those 3 and 4 teams in three matches.
Basically this.

Scoring goals gallore against minnows in the CL, pretty much means we have what it takes to score a goal or 2 against top tiers, home or away.

I know you are trying to be a sarcastic smartass, but Cuadrado played in 3-5-2 like 99% of the time, and usually with Evra on the other side, so whoever played right CB was not that far from a legit wingback.
Maybe at the beginning, when we played more of a 433 with Barzagli as RB but later on it was a classic 352 with Cuadrado as a wingback

why hasn't this deal been completed yet if it was so close last week? What is taking so long? This always happens then we lose out to these utra rich teams.

Alves: 'No Juventus deal yet'
By Football Italia staff

Juventus “made a formal offer, but Dani Alves hasn’t signed anything yet,” said his agent amid PSG rumours.

The Barcelona full-back reportedly has a clause in his Barcelona contract allowing him to walk away for free before June 5, although his deal runs to June 2017.

“Dani Alves has not signed anything with anyone yet, so I don’t know where you are getting your information from,” agent Santa Ana da Silva Dinorah told UOL Esporte.

“He has a contract with Barcelona until the end of next season, so when he signs something, we will announce it.

“Juventus made a formal offer and came to see me, but Dani Alves has not signed any contract yet.”

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo claims the agent is currently in Paris for talks with Paris Saint-Germain.
