Having the best RB 2005-2010 and the best LB 2005-2010 :tuttosport:
So you think Evra wasnt a good transfer? Get out lol

Alves is still one of the best RB's in the game.Thats all we need to know.

He wouldnt come to Juve if he just wanted a nice fat paycheck. He wants to continue playing at a high level as he's been doing for so many seasons.

He's 3 trophies away from having the record; may be a reason to choose Juve: maximum chances of winning 3 titles next season... Supercoppa and Scudetto to start with.

same was said about Pirlo look how he turned out.

Look Alves regardless of age is an excellent signing especially for free, he assisted more than any of our players in the CL this season, his transitional play is still fantastic and to be honest as much as I'm a Licht fan Alves is better going forward and has a better end product. In comparison to Cuadrado who I also am a fan of Alves is a better fit both to a 4 and 3 man defence, if I had to choose between the 2 on a free i'd still pick Alves over Cuadrado
Alves is better for now because of his superior brain, abilities and insane experience but I doubt he will stay as good for long. Cuadrado has many years ahead of him and would have a good resale value that Alves won't have. Cuadrado would also be on much cheaper wages throughout his stay. In the short term Alves is better in footballing qualities but in the long run Cuadrado is better business if he is for free.

Lol he could easily do that at Barca, why leave then ?

I think he clearly wants a new experience. He'll be more motivated to do well at a new club now.

Rai: Dani Alves is a Juventus player. He will sign a 2-year contract with an option for another year worth €3.5m/yr.

obvs the board didnt wanted to commit much money in finding a cuadrado replacement..when theres urgency in the midfield and we need to solve morata situation. Not to mention berardi{s adquisition.

They will wait a little longer to find a long term high quality player for the RB position, but for now we will get alves.

:tuttosport:
sandro/evra - alves/lichtsteiner and the only thing some think about is to complain about age
i hate this generation fifa: age > 27 -> too old! age > 30 -> pretty much dead already!

imo alves will be amazing for us. we just fixed our rb "problem" for at least two years and bought us enough time to find an opportunity for an alex sandro on the right.

btw: thank you @Xperd for posting all the news. we´ve been missing someone like you since @Mister disappeared

I think Licht will leave.

We might replace him with a younger RB.

Im pretty sure the plan is to do the same as for the left side, buy temporary solution now (Evra, Alves) so we can invest in other areas. The board will probably still look for a guy who can be our RB for the next few years and when they find opportunity they will buy him (just like they did with Alex Sandro). Imo they dont consider Widmer or Vrsaljko to be starter material for Juve. Plan was to probably try to for De Sciglio but it appears that Milan didnt want to sell.

we will see. tbf, if someone like widmer joins we shouldn´t complain either. but imo licht will stay.
btw: as far as i know de sciglio i allegri´s first choice but milan refused to sell. his contract is running out next year, isn´t it? :beppe:

regarding your rep comment: i know everyone can copy/paste from twitter. but that´s the thing, everyone can google things, look up things and use google translate but it´s still very convenient when someone else does it for you ^^.

He could yeah, but let's be honest. Any trophy in Italy with Juve is much more of a garanty. The Supercoppa, the Scudetto AND the Coppa are 3 trophies we don't have as much competition in as Barcelona... They're always fighting against Real and Atletico while we barely have any opponent worthy of our status.

That's really great business if it happens, we are set to have the best flanks among all teams for a couple of years ahead.
