comolli's best work was bale, berbatov and modrić for spurs easily

but that was eons ago

so let's see how it goes

Luis Suarez too for Liverpool.

But if you consider all his jobs. Based on his resume and statements of those he worked with/for, and even his own:

Only two are considered success:

Arsenal job- scouting job, 8 years, but hard to quantify.

St. Etienne first real SD gig, successful tenure for 1 year.

Tottenham 3 years, signed several good players, but by his own words and those who evaluated him, mediocre or failed gig as director. Despite good scouting output.

2nd tenure in St. Etienne, 2 years, completely failed gig.

Liverpool 2 years. Couple decent to ok signings, rest average, all around failed and got fired.

Fenerbahce 2 years. Considered failed gig and moved on.

Toulouse 5 years. Successful growth job as club president.

Now in Juventus. Holding our fingers for dear life.

But this is not an encouraging resume even if its very simplified considering there's other factors too.

Pretty sceptical about him after his roles at Liverpool and Spurs. It also sounds like St. Etienne was a mess too.

I just hope he does better than Toli.

So his role is similar to Beppe’s in the past? And is he also looking after Calvo’s old role too?

Disappointing that Scanavino still has such a prominent position at Juventus too. Fuck that Toro fan.
