Don't forget that Bentancur and Rabiot has to start appearing on the scoresheet too because when we were spreading the numbers we had Khedira and Pjanic consistently scoring goals, before them we had Porgba, Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio. Bentancur, Rabiot and Arthur barely score ten goals altogether in all competitions.
The only anomaly in the last 6 seasons is the 16/17 season where Khedira scored 9 goals. The rest of the season our midfield contributed 10-15 or so goals and a bunch of that dried up when Ronaldo joined. Presumably because Pjanic couldn't take any more freekicks. He had 5 and 5 goals before Ronaldo joined and that dropped to two and three when Ronaldo joined. Our fullbacks and CBs also contribute a few goals between them. Last season though Rabiot scored 4 and McKennie scored 5 and the third CM (Arthur, Ben10) scored one or none. That's very similar to what we had before Ronaldo. With Khedira and Pjanic scoring 5 and 5 and the third CM (Lemina, Marchisio etc.) scoring one each or something.
The difference between Ronaldo-less Juve and Ronaldo Juve boils down to how much the other attacking options score. After Ronaldo joined that avenue of goals have dried up (barring Chiesa's 8 goals last season). In conclusion, the players who need to pick up and score goals are the ones in the final third and with our tactic no longer going to be pass to Ronaldo, we should go back to scoring the average 75-78 goals per season* of the last few years without any problem.
