He really is worth every single penny we pay him, there just isn't a single person on earth more clutch than him when it matters. At 34 years old he can still perform at the absolute highest of levels at the highest of stages even after changing teams and leagues for the fourth time in his career. I can't think of a player in history who has been this insanely reliable and consistent throughout his whole career. Whatever happens in the CL after this performance, he still has to be the greatest of all time.
