Regarding the tweet from our club. Ronaldo was reportedly furious with Real Madrid for not backing him publicly when the tax evasion case came up (Barca did it for Messi during his case). Due to our huge investment and being so early into his Juve career, we were basically backed into a corner here. Whether it was the right or wrong move time will tell.
