C Ronaldo didn't have as bad a match as his teammates. The entire ManU midfield was a no show against Milan. Even Kaká would look dodgy with that kind of support.

Even so, Kaká had a brilliant match.

Alright then, let's compare each players' attributes:

Dribbling: Ronaldo > Kaka
Shooting: Ronaldo = Kaka
Vision: Ronaldo < Kaka
Passing: Ronaldo < Kaka
Crossing: Ronaldo = Kaka
Stamina: Ronaldo = Kaka
Tackling: Ronaldo << Kaka
Finding Space: Ronaldo < Kaka
Being clutch: Ronaldo = Kaka
Team work: Ronaldo < Kaka

To be honest, the only supurb talent Ronaldo has is dribbling one versus one and potentially hitting shots outside the box. Apart from that, he doesn't even come close to Kaka in terms of effectiveness. People love to nut over the fact that Ronaldo is a crowd pleaser, but it takes much more than that criteria to be the best player in the world. Perhaps for a month or so Ronaldo was the best due to his performances in the EPL, but the big stage where the pressure is on is where the verdicts have more bearing. Kaka has been the better player on the big stage and is superior to Ronaldo in more facets of the game.. what the fuck more do you want.

Ronaldo was poor last night. He didn´t win any duels. But still last page of this thread is as lame as it can get and some of the comments are disgusting.

Actually Andy i think that Kaka's shooting is better and ronaldo's crossing is a bit better
I was thinking the same thing, other than that I pretty much agree with the rest, Kaka is a much better player overall IMO. Though actually saying C.Ronaldo is the best player in the world ATM shouldn't exactly get you nailed on a cross instantly, but that's the way it is on this forum, people just don't give enough credit to EPL. Then again EPL fans give it more than it deserves..

I'm of the opinion that even in the EPL, Ronaldo isnt the best, I'd rather have Drogba on my team. And I've said it time and time again, Kaka is the best player we have seen since Zidane. Whats sad is that for people to understand that, Kaka had to play a high profile match to prove it to everyone. He deserves player of the year fair and square.

I will accept that fact. Kaka is a new football artist, much like Zidane was. Brilliant players. It´s a shame that he plays for Milan though.

Ronaldo is still wat 20 or 21? Kaka is a matured wine, and it is difficult to imagine how he could improve his game, because as well as possessing natural talent, he does little things so well, like the way he control ball and sets himself up for the pass, etc. I mean just look at his movement. The convention is that, a la Dutch way, you spread as much as possible, to space out the opposition. But Kaka went counter-intuitive, and in many times operated right next to Seedorf, and peeling off last minute right before his teammate releases his pass. Those things are signs of player playing top of his game technically and tactically.

In contrast, Ronaldo has many attributes whereby he can improve and I am sure he will do so. I think there is a tendency to kill the ball when he receives it. He should also play more one-twos, because IMO, they are the most effective way of carrying the ball and breaching opposition. But all said and done, he is still extremely young, and his physique alone gives him the chance to become a player greater than Kaka. There will be many defenders suffering from insonmia once Ronaldo matures as a player to compliment his pace and skill.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still a little shit and his artificial forced moves still fail to impress me. He's nowhere near the best players in the world, let alone THE best player.

If you ask me about Ronaldo's attitude - well I don't particuarly like them too. But I heard the kid went through tough upbringing, and without such arrogance and self-belief I don't think Ronaldo will be where at he is right now.

But I have changed my mind about Ronaldo being just a pony-trick guy. He has speed and power, so if he can harness that attribute with tactical awareness, I believe he will be every bit as good as Titi Henry.

But Kaka is somethingelse right now. He is a head & shoulders above the rest. But I just can't think of him getting better. If he does - well the rest of world enjoy every single moment of his career.

Gattuso made Ronaldo his bitch. No one can shut anyone down like Gattuso. Ronaldo is sweet, Kaka is better, and Gattuso is a BEAST. What a player, I am so jealous.

Ronaldinho owned Rino last time Barca played Milan. I like Gattuso - I think he is top 5 midfield player in the world by his sheer determination to win the game, and work-rate, but he never struck me as a great man-marker. Rino roughed up Ronaldo big time, especially early on which got into latter's mind, but with some more strict refereeing he may not have been so much effective. But it was good to see English' sides best being physically mand-handled after watching Carragher and Liverpool kicking the living hell out of Dinho & Co, and Fletcher abusing Totti to no end.

Although Gattuso is a good player he is still a clown and any time I see a good dribbler making fun of him gives me an orgasm.

ronaldo was undoubtedly the worst player on the pitch last nite, it just shows that he isnt all that hes made out to be, ronaldo may be good, but kaka is sum1 of a completly different class, im talking of a polarised class. ronaldo has a very very long way to go to be anywhere near what i truely call world class, even to this day id take sum1 like pavel nedved or camoranesi over ronaldo

Fletcher was the worse player on the field, don't know why he played AGAIN.

Ronaldo in the EPL is amazing because English teams don't know how to defend against organized attacks, they can only defend long ball passes, and slopy quick attacks, Ronaldo needs to find a new team outside of England to improve his skills in different areas, there was an article on Kaka wanting to play side by side with Ronaldo on AC Milan, I can see that happen if Milan decides to drop the Ronaldinho bullshit, I'd rather see Ronaldo in a Juve jersey but it would be nice to see him play in a more organized league so to speak, or even if he went to the Spanish league i'd like to see him go to Valencia but they don't have enough for him, I dislike Barcelona and Real Madrid but those would be great teams for him too (without Capello) Ronaldo has many options, but the teams just cant afford him I think he made the wrong decision signing a new contract until 2012.

I think Kaka is amazing, but Ronaldo is too they just play differnet positions Ronaldo uses the sidelines and the small space to his advantage, whereas Kaka plays with more open space and looks for his teammates to his advantage.

    Dribbling: Ronaldo >> Kaka
    Shooting: Ronaldo = Kaka
    Vision: Ronaldo ≤ Kaka
    Short Passing: Ronaldo ≤ Kaka
    Long Passing: Ronaldo < Kaka
    Crossing: Ronaldo = Kaka
    Stamina: Ronaldo = Kaka
    Tackling: Ronaldo << Kaka
    Finding Space: Ronaldo ≤ Kaka
    Being clutch: Ronaldo = Kaka
    Team work: Ronaldo ≤ Kaka

    Ball Control: Ronaldo = Kaka
    Header: Ronaldo > Kaka
    Creativity: Ronaldo ≥ Kaka
    Speed: Ronaldo ≥ Kaka
    Flair: Ronaldo > Kaka

    Fixed.
