Honestly, I’m not even sure what the problem with this club is, but I don’t think it’s all on Giuntoli. Last summer, everyone was rating him 8 or 9 out of 10, and we were happy with the transfers. Honestly, signings like Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, Nico Gonzalez, Thuram, Chico, and others were top-notch for a single summer, and most of them were really good players before joining Juve, with plenty of suitors. On the other hand, reducing wages and the average age by letting go of guys like Sandro, Szczesny, Rabiot, De Sciglio, and others was a solid move. The fact that almost all the new signings have flopped is strange, though. I think the biggest mistake Giuntoli made was bringing in Motta. Overall, I agree that Giuntoli should go, but I’m worried that changing him and bringing in another director won’t make much of a difference. It feels like something's just wrong with this club, but I can’t figure out what it is.
Giuntolli is the problem. He got suckered in to overpay for some of these players. He might have cut the costs in salaries but increased the costs in amortization. We are yet to acquire permanently some of the players so the negative effect will be felt in the next few years. If we dont qualify for the CL, it will be a disaster. We will most definitely have to sell before buying. There wont be rebuilding, but only bargains and loans. His decisions, on transfers, selection of managers, have been a major setback to our progress. Look at what Marotta is doing with inter and how he has managed to turn them around. Giuntolli had exactly the opposite effect. Our owners have been extremely lenient to the level of incompetence showed by this guy. From Allegri's debacle when he actively plotted against a coach in charge, to alieniating half the squad over the summer, overpaying for players not suitable for us, choosing a wrong coach to start a project with. Too many things he is at fault of. He cannot survive this.

Sure, you can say owners for hiring him but owners dont manage a business of this magnitude, especially since they are entangled in several more important companies. They hire managers that run a business. If a manager doesnt get results, he gets replaced. No owner likes losing money so he will definitely get sacked. I cannot see a way Gountolli gets another year. For example in the company I work for, the owners are fond of Brits, Muricans before them but they usually get half a year. If sales dont go up, they get replaced. Tbh Im tired of them. As soon as the new Brit is coming in we start making bets how long this guy will last and that we will fuck him up.

The thing is, when we signed these players in the summer — for the prices we paid — they were genuinely good players. That was their market value. Even Douglas Luiz was being linked with City and United, and Koopmeiners was on Liverpool’s radar. Everyone we brought in had been performing well at their previous clubs. The fact that they all turned out to be flops and completely underperformed is just bizarre. We’re judging them now based on their current form, but at the time, everyone agreed those were smart moves. So I really don’t think it’s all on Giuntoli — to me, the biggest mistake he made was choosing the coach. That’s probably what led to all of them flopping at the same time.
And people talk about Marotta now like he was perfect, but back when he was at Juve, we were often frustrated with him too. Remember that one summer he spent the whole window in Germany trying to get Draxler and Gotze, then ended up selling Vidal and signing Hernanes? Inter’s success isn’t only because of Marotta, just like Juve’s struggles aren’t only because of Giuntoli.
That said, I agree Juve needs a complete overhaul, both on the management and coaching side. But if we don’t figure out what the problem is, we’re just going to keep repeating the same mistakes. There’s chaos in the way the club is being run, and as long as things stay this disorganized, we’ll keep seeing the same mess on the pitch.

Before Marotta, inter were meme club. Ofc he is the biggest reason for their resurection. As for his time here, he rebuilt this club, made us top 3-5 in Europe. Hernanes for Vidal is exaggeration. There have been plenty of great signings over the years that allowed us to remain great, we did not have a competition in Italy.
