Well, some people said we need this type of guy here...he is a fraud who needed 8 years in napolo to win scudetto. And the best players napoli bought werent even his idea. Its not hard to scam our management, so he did it really good.
This is what I don't get - he had a reputation for finding hidden gems and buying them cheap. Who else did he find besides Kvaratskelia? How many Kellies did he buy before he struck gold over there?

What hidden gems? The only talented nobodies oshimen and kvarashella were scouted by someone else and not cuntoli. The other were nothing special.

The only reason people belived in this scumbag comes from desperation and bad times. In any other circumbstances this guy would never been juventus sporting director. He is actualy nobody in a football world.

I would keep him though, changing a DS again doesnt strike me like the best idea. Lets not forget that Marotta also failed miserably with his first coach choice in Del Neri.
He definitely needs to get his shit together, but he made good signings on paper. The reaction to sacking of Motta is really telling though, even his so called pupils like Koop didnt say a word and thats actually worrying for me.
The problems were appointing and following Motta too easily + the classless way in which everything has been handled up 'till now.

And ofc the management structure besides Giunto too. I wouldn't shed a tear for anyone at this club being sacked right now but we need to structure shit asap. GM, SD, etc... And all of them need to be present daily and point in one direction.

Giuntoli:

“I wanted to start by thanking Thiago Motta and his staff for their commitment during their time here. I wanted to make it clear that our relationship remains a good one. I’m sure he’ll have a great career.”

“During the international break we reflected on the results, about what we saw on the pitch, and we decided to change direction. We immediately thought of Igor Tudor, firstly for his technical and personal qualities, and not only for his past with the club.”

“Igor will be with us until the end of the season, the Club World Cup included, and then we’ll sit down and discuss a future that we hope to share with him. We’re confident about the future.”

Let’s hope he gets sacked. Terrible performance, atrocious decisions, we waited for a new CB almost until the end of January, while Bremer got injured Sep/Oct.

I wouldn’t mind Maldini, I think he did solid job at Milan with minimum funds.

I'd take Maldini too and let him work in synergy with Chiellini and Del Piero to compensate for the Milan DNA.

Tardelli also sees responsibility within the club: “They’ve been blind and uninterested in what was happening around them for too long,” he argued.
It was clear that the volcano was about to erupt. Why didn’t they try to stop it?

“I wonder why Giuntoli, a former footballer who knows locker rooms well, didn’t sense what was happening, especially considering that he had acted somewhat impulsively in other situations.”
