Just imagine if we kept the same squad as last year.

Perin

Danilo - Gatti - Huijsen - Cambiaso

Soule - Locatelli - Rabiot - Chiesa

Yildiz

Kean

I have a hard time believing this team would do any worse. In fact, add on Thuram and Kalulu as the only signings, and we would be better off.

Come on dude that is an awful XI.

If you give those players to Motta you're genuinely dicing with relegation.

Conte first season, he was fortunate to have:

  • Leaders - like Buffon, ADP, Chiellini(fresh leader).
  • Future leaders - Then there were others who learned and stepped up to become leaders, Marchisio, Licht, Barzagli
  • Difference makers - talented to change games Pirlo, Vidal
  • Decent players - Caceras, bonucci
  • Hard workers/Utility men - Giaccherinis, Padoins, pepe etc
  • Useless faggots - Amauri, Iaquinta, De Ceglie, Motta etc
Fast forward today and poor Motta and now Tudor have:

  • Leaders -
  • Future leaders - Bremer (injured), Perin (bench), Kalulu (season 1)
  • Difference makers - Conceicao, Muani
  • Decent players - Yildiz, Mbangula, (Veiga), (Cambiaso), Di Gregorio, (Cabal)
  • Hard workers/Utility men - Mckennie, Weah, (Gatti)
  • Useless faggots - Kelly, Koop, Nico, Douglas Luiz, Locatelli, Vlahovic, Milik, Savona, Rouhi

A good manager can work on the Useless faggots, turn them into decent/hard workers, which is what I expect Tudor to achieve. A great manager can make Decent players into difference makers and even future leaders. However, no manager on earth can make a leader, you need leaders to breed more leaders and this squad is crying for some for so many years. Either that or we just have to keep winning and soon develop the hunger to win, slowly let the culture of hierarchy (ex players) and fans instil this.

So up yours Giutoli for getting rid of the semi leader we had in Danilo.

Even though Danilo's performance dropped (although arguably it was because of Mota) he was the least of our problems and we had no need to get rid of him whatsoever. I knew we would have problems the minute talks about him being sold started.

Marotta rightly can be pissed with Agnelli but can Elkann soften him to come back? Money won't be an issue, we can pay him what we paid Ronaldo. Siuu [insert picture of Marotta doing a Ronaldo celebration with his shirt on]
Why would he downgrade his role from president down to DS not even GM? Nah he won’t do it.

No chance. There's a great synergy right now with Marotta and the pro-Inda folks like Gravina over at FIGC. He has too much power and influence right now at the place he is and has successfully managed to dethrone the JJ empire. He gains nothing by returning to Juventus.

Oh I agree it's next to zero, but by offering him a president role, changes things, a little. Working under exor could be enticing. Still ain't happening but worth entertaining.
