one injured, the other plays like shit recently

how the fuck a cb wasn't signed by 9:00 AM, the 2nd of january, and an other one by noon the same day. plus add a fullback by midnight, 03.01

lack of market opportunities my ass. the club knew for months that bremer and cabal are dead for the season and danilo will get pushed out. we also knew that there were 2 cl rounds to play in january, and that gatti and kalulu should absolutely play both games due to the new cl eligibility rules (new signings can't be added to the squad before the end of the league rounds).

so what the fuck, dude. extremely irresponsible mercato. yeah, motta should be more aggressive about it and the squad should feature at least one next gen player for the proper number of bodies on the bench, we should also adapt our tactics to the new situation, but this is 99% on giuntoli

Between the guy too stupid to find a shirt sponsor for one of the most famous teams in the world, the guy who plays the same shit each week, and Toli, It's really hard to tell who is the most incompetent person working for Juventus.

Boggles the mind.

We enquired about Araujo and were quoted 70mln. That's the reality of January transfer window. You either overpay massively or take some unwanted players aka market opportunities.

No defenders and no strikers. This man is a fraud. If anyone else fails at their job like this they get fired. So how is this clown getting away with it?

No chants or banners in stadium? Are the fans in Italy stupid?

There were boos against Motta and team but not Giuntoli.

I'm assuming Veiga will play

While Giuntoli has made some mistakes. I think trying to do too much too quickly. His biggest mistake seems to be hiring Motta.
His biggest mistake is thinking he's the big dog and he needs only himself. I keep looking back at the last winter mercato. He had made his mind up to let Allegri go, which was the right decision. Instead of letting Max know and planning for the future, he decides to fuck up the winter window and buy two players Max did not want/need. The team falls to pieces with the off-field tensions most likely playing a big role. If we didn't have that great first half (in terms of points, not general play), we could have seriously missed out on the CL and the money that comes with it, this season. That whole fiasco was a big, unnecessary risk he didn't have to take. Then comes this summer and the man decides to overhaul a whole team in one go while hiring a relatively novice manager. That could still have worked out, if it weren't for all the critical players arriving towards the end of the summer and us missing out on multiple targets and scrambling for alternatives. And now we are at the end of the winter window and we still look absolutely clueless in the market.
He's not going anywhere, at least not for another season or two. I hope these last 18 months were his 'hiring Del Neri' era and from here on he aces it. I'm not holding my breath on that happening though.

This is also true but I do fear that unless there is a strong figure as President this will continue. Someone needs to be there to hold the reigns. It's like when Agnelli gave way too much power to Paratici.

Who is our president again? We seriously need someone who's not a random suit from one of daddy's other companies.

market opportunities present themselves already in november when players are already benched or contracts aren't extended. of course you don't often sign starters of big clubs in january, that's not the reality of current juventus. we're far from signing star players even in the summer. but when you don't have the sufficient amount (amount, i'm not even talking about quality!) of players, that's incompetence.

i don't expect araujo for 70m, it would have been a retarded move for an injury prone player, even for around 40m he'd be expensive. but not even trying for players on expiring contracts like boscagli from psv or bertola from spezia? at this point even rugani could have been useful. just sign someone in time so that gatti and kalulu can be rotated is too much to ask for apparently. anyway...

Absolutely. When we succeed we've always had a strong leaders as President. For anyone to succeed you must have a strong management, for exact moments where it looks like things are moving in the wrong direction. As much as Agnelli fucked up his last few years we had someone that was incredibly strong leading the club and he was always at the forefront defending us.

We need someone who is Juventus personified. For me that can only be one man but if not him I say either Agnelli back or Chiellini. He is incredibly intelligent and if he walks into a room people respect him not only in Italy but internationally as well. I think you need someone that is Juventus in and out. Who understands what it means and also who knows that everyone is out to get us so we must be that protection for players and staff alike.

It can only be someone who realises that no one player, coach or president is bigger than Juventus. Sadly there seems to be too much power resting with Motta and Giuntoli because the rest are worried about numbers.

Del piero :

'Juventus is disorganised and innatentive. She needs help, not only from the coach but also from the club "

Bizarre, really bizarre how instead of signing a CB, you get rid of one. Giuntoli needs to go first, I still think Motta can turn out good but the squad forward planning, scouting and negotiation skills is terrible. I mean who the fuck thought Lloyd Kelly is Juventus material. I'm running out of patience, if we get no CB and a good one then Sack Giuntoli immediately.

It is hard to plan for an event in which two of your defenders tear ACL. Also, you don't know for what players we enquired about. Juve basically don't leak anything since Giuntoli took over.
Players like Boscagli or Bertola are totally not up for the task and even I know it, not to mention a team of professionals like in Juve's case.

Tell me, why Madrid didn't bring any defender while losing Militao to another ACL in November, Carvajal in October with Alaba still sidelined after an ACL rupture? They have incomparable budget and appeal to ours yet they play Tchouameni CB and Vazquez first choice RB. Bench? Raul Asencio, Jesus Vallejo and Fran Garcia.

Real Madrid.
