If only he had a cristal globe to see Bremer getting injured... Squad has a lot of depth, but with as many injuries as we had, that depth becomes depleted.
There was no need for a crystal globe.

Literally half of the forum was saying all summer that we needed more/ better CBs.

You don't need ro predict injuries but you do need to be better prepared for them because there is always a chance that they can happen.

Yeah we probably should’ve got another CB. But the entire team needed an overhaul- we brought in 9 new players, many of whom are starters (including a CB). You can only do so much in one transfer window.

He signed a defender and we would have been fine for this season with 4 CBs. But you cant predict injuries like Bremer's and add few more just in case. Sure, you can count on players being out for a few weeks but not entire season.

does the club have 4 cbs?

is danilo the cb? if so then fullback position is short a player if danilo is cb. if danilo is fullback then the cb position is short a player.

not like he had to spend money either? djalo and rugani were already juventus players.

Operates like he has a compass but doesn't have a map.

You can't keep knee-jerking and looking for mercato opportunities.

I respect the overhaul and number of changes made in the summer. But the real test is his next move... that will tell us whether he's switched on and understands what this squad needs, or if he's asleep at the wheel.

9 new players many of whom we don't know why they are here and yet we are not allowed to rate his work.
I was cool with Kalulu at first, but after his 12 year-old foul that gave away a penalty, I'm not so sure. Chico looks good at least.

The rest of the signings have been horrible.

150M down the drain.

These days @Xperd 's and @Robee 's tits are growing and jelling faster then this team.
Lolz, all calm. But suppose you think so because he fired Allegri who got the job done? Or because you're prematurely ejaculating again?

We're clearly on the right track but far from the finished product. What did you expect?

Well Giuntoli didn't really create the best environment for Motta. Vlahovic backup, Nico Gonzalez constantly unavailable, no defence backup. Well it's clear he had no budget to cover all that holes, but signing injury prone players barely worked out for Juve.

Hmm yes and no imo. I think before the summer most of us were saying the midfield needed fixed most urgently. In the end the players we bought mostly haven't been transformational and are looking like a waste of money only because McKennie of all people has emerged into the season of his career.

That said yeah Calafiori was 100% the must-sign guy of the summer. That was a huge miss, especially given that he can play full back as well. If we'd signed him instead of Luiz we wouldn't be so shit after Bremer's injury.

Your last paragraph hits the nail on the head. This isn't even an especially bad injury crisis and we look decimated by it.

Everyone prefer McKennie accept Aston Villa offer when we sign Douglas Luiz, and we just dont know how a strong Premier League players like him become mentally checked out with us. It seems like everytime we doing these kind of "Arthur transfer swap deal", we will hit by karma. players with 70m valuation on transfermarkt becoming worthless and no one will buy them because of their high salaries

The only way is either to let him regain his form or sell him at earliest opportunity to recoup some of the investment made
We are already have Amauri 2.0, Arthur 2.0, maybe in 5 more games we will have Milos Krasic 2.0 in Chico

Motta gameplay seems to becoming Allegri 2.0 with more backpasses, slow pass and no creativity everytime he play Danilo, it will be better if in winter mercato we can offload all the players that have been coached by Allegri to clear all the viruses in their mind, before they spread those viruses to other players

I agree Luiz had a really bad start, but let's not label him as another Arthur already. Arthur was a gamble from the start with his constant injuries and inability to play more than 60 mins. So far Douglas Luiz just looks lost, I agree it all points out he could be another Arthur, but it's still premature. Same as Vlahovic as Amauri 2.0 I agree he is not living up to his potential, but he scores at least twice what Amauri used to score here and is still very young, could soon hit his peak.

The real question is what did you expect?
Why would you answer a question with a question?

I expected a rebuild and we're seeing just that. On top of that I want an easy CL qualification.

Hmm, those injuries are barely Giuntoli's fault... The only injury prone player he signed of those was Gonzalez btw and he's not exactly being missed as Conceicao is doing great. The backup CBs in Cabal and Kalulu didn't miss anything yet... Milik got injured in preseason and couldn't be sold obviously.

I'd say it's Motta's job to organise this defence and let our team grind out some results for now.
