That was not panic signing. That was straight negligence and fraud against a club in financial trouble.

If you think 20m is no big deal to spend on a goalie then ask yourself why is the club nickel and diming Gonzalez and Koop over a 3 million price difference then
I count it as incompetence. The only deal Toli was able to get done without any hiccups was for a position for which we didn’t have a pressing need….

Kalulu says he was convinced by Motta and Thuram.

First of all it's sad that he had to be convinced of anything. We are fucking Juventus!

And second, he wasn't convinced by Giuntoli.

That being said I still beleive Giuntoli did a terrible job overal this summer.

He didn’t seem to have any issues at Dortmund

I think it’s a toxic Man United problem.

He’s a very good player and it’d almost certainly be a loan deal I’d imagine, a touch less risky.
He didnt just struggle at United he completely flopped and dragged the coach and club into toxic drama. Red flags all over him. Even Dortmund said he didn’t used to train properly but was banging the goals so they didn’t stress it.

I wouldn’t want rashford here either and he has shown much more.

We used to be happy to dodge the likes of Icardi who were talented but toxic.

Honestly are there any Juve fans convinced by Giuntoli right now? Why would anyone think Kalulu would be any different?

There’s no doubts that there is some concerns about his behaviour/professionalism given his dealings with ETH…but I think you’re over-exaggerating with it and also with how he supposedly behaved at Dortmund. They are/were desperate to have him back. And isn’t it the first time a player has totally flopped at United and fallen out with the manager. Di Maria is another huge example.

If he finds a way to sign Chiesa extension for a reasonable amount and he performs + Motta gets more him and Vlahovic to perform (I.e proves to be a decent coach) + Thuram proves to be a good player then that’s a great first season in charge.
Yes and if Fiorentina accept our offer and if Gonzalez accepts our salary then he will be a Juve player if we get it done before deadline day.
