That's called the odd scudetto during eight years of reign. He changed and changed and changed and got it right once.
Odd scudetto lol. The last time they won the league prior to 2023 was 33 years ago. So basically one league title every 33 years on an average. Almost as rare as JJ winning a CL.

The team closest to Juve in Marotta's era of dominance was Napoli. Imagine thinking winning the league with a team that seldom wins championships isn't an achievement..

JCK is Tuz OG with his stubborn glass half empty mindset with certain Juve individuals over the years.

He made up his mind early so he will pretty much be vehemently against Giuntoli all season, including trying to spin building rare scudetto winning team with Napoli as a fluke. Just accept it Xperd :D

You have 3 options...
There we go. We have options. We don't commit genocide refusing to sell to Roma. So quit being a drama queen.
There is also an option to wait it out. Towards the end of mercato the teams get more desperate and better offers can arrive. So let's say we had at least 4 options. Selling on a cheap for Roma should be the last option we take. Especially when we have 0 capable wingers at this stage.

Now, for a rival bid- there was Leicester. This was reported by both journos and Soule himself "Leicester wanted me a lot; both the coach and the sporting director called me to convince me of their project". First offer was 30mil. We could have easily gotten 40-50mil (see our fist bid for Koop at 40mil and when we close the deal for 55-60mil).
Btw, valuation from Motta at the same interview 70mil. Anecdote, but seems about right for snaping the talent from one of the big clubs in Europe.

Indeed he didn't. And you know the reason why I presume. Or wait these do gooders didn't remind you last season? :D

That Giuntoli as soon as he was hired, went to his bosses to start working on transfers and they told him:

I know the reason but he did not prepare for this summer and it is quite obvious that what he doing now is random and the panic has just staarted.

Up to Thuram, Luiz and Cabal signing it looked good and in control.

But I really agree since then in last 3 weeks or so we look like we just scrambling and have no clue what we are waiting for. With the Todibo debacle, how slow we are at addressing the wingers situation and how long Koopmeiners is taking.

But there's 18 days left in the window, so let's see what he can do in that time for much needed player additions.

isn't it interesting how he is penny pinching on renewals, with signing cb, and with getting wingers and koop

but he didn't penny pinch at all with the 4th goalie. there was no negotiation on salary. no negotiation on signing amount. just boom signed in one day.

suspicious.

Dude, you're the drama queen here. You are creating a different scenario... You only have options if the player changes his mind and we didn't have options because we needed the money to buy (ignore modus on again?) and Roma had the highest bid (30 mil + 10% resale is not cheap for an unproven player). Are you plainly ignoring those facts for the sake of it or is there another reason for this limited cognitive reasoning?

Easily gotten 40-50 haha, stop it, dude. Really... Rofl.

We bid once for Koop according to the big sources and it was 50 mil. Hence why they're mad... Late contact.

Fraud watch for what? Because a bunch of Tuz muppets are going berserk over mercato rumors before a ball is even being kicked?

What matters is how we fare on the pitch. As long as Motta and Giuntoli can secure a champions league spot and show progress in our football, they would've done a satisfactory job for year 1 of this multi-year project.
He started off well, but the last month has been disastrous.

Our squad is imbalanced. Too many GKs and not enough defenders. Too many midfielders and not enough wide players.

Instead of chasing unicorns like Koopmeiners, who will never come, Giuntoli should’ve spent money on fixing deeper issues within the team.

As Galliani confirmed that Giuntoli contacted him back in Jan/Feb, I'm going to conclude that he wanted 4m to start with, then CG knocked him down to 3m by the end of last season. Then CG penny pinched him down to 2m by the start of the window. Boom, signed in 6 months.

Source: I strongly choose to believe it.

Too many GK's  Yes bro, we are fielding a starting eleven full of GK's... What has Lion done to you guys

Here are some facts:
-We have the same amount of defenders as last season. Alex Sandro is the only that has departed and he's been replaced by Kabal.

-We have the same amount of wingers as last season. If Chiesa and Kostic depart, they'll be replaced by two wingers.

-We have pretty much the same amount of midfielders as last season. Fagiot, Hans and soon Mckennie will be leaving and they will be replaced by Luiz, Thuram and Koopmeiners.

-We have one less striker compared to last season and one extra keeper. That extra keeper is our starting GK and our starting keeper from last season will depart by the end of the window. Anyone that considers Pinsoglio a legit GK should just stop posting tbh.

There's still 19 days left in the market. If we fail to get Koopmeiners and we don't resolve Chiesa and the winger situation in time, there's obviously a cause for concern but all these panic stricken posts of calling Giuntoli a fraud especially when the team hasn't played a single competitive minute is premature to say the least.
