God damn it. We were so close.
Ok, let's try this way. Player "X" has two offers. Club "A" offers "Y" euros; Club "B" offers "Y-10mil" euros. Player "X" prefers to move to Club "B". Where do we sell?
Try to stick to this case and don't go comparing apples with oranges again. You're uncomfortable like this. Just shit it out because you try to get Club B to pay more and make everybody happy. But that was not the case here. Soulé wanted Roma and Roma had the highest bid which is apparently what you won't acknowledge.

He already played 2 full 90 minutes matches with Milan in week 36 and 37 last season, so with around 3 months of holidays he will be fresh and ready to slot in in our defense department. If it is a loan + option not obligation, then it is a cheap gamble, at least he is in a slightly better condition than Djalo

If he get his 2022 form back and stay free from injury he will be a beast under Motta cause he can easily move the ball defense to the final third

But the one that I want is Edmond Tapsoba

Tapsoba or Hincapie would be perfect for us. Young dynamic defenders, both left footed, but they won league title with Leverkusen and going to CL for first time. Leverkusen selling Tah to Bayern so I doubt they would entertain losing other starting defenders this late.

And I dont think we can get him this season because of his non EU status

Oh damn yeah both of them are Non EU. No go. And they would be 30-40m minimum probably even if they had EU passport.

I really hope Adzic turns out to be worth the non EU spot he took for this year.

We've played this game many times before and failed big time.

We can't afford to gamble anymore.

Entered here to see lion's opinion about the 4th goalkeeper and all I see is a TUZ civil war in full display
Somehow it feels forced. It is still early to enter these kind of arguments. Ofc some folks always writte us off before the season starts and then proceed by inventing lavishing offers we recieved for players but we decided to sell for less (wtf). Providing no source for this ofc, only their imagination. Negative mindset.

He is being put on fraud watch as we speak.
Fraud watch for what? Because a bunch of Tuz muppets are going berserk over mercato rumors before a ball is even being kicked?

What matters is how we fare on the pitch. As long as Motta and Giuntoli can secure a champions league spot and show progress in our football, they would've done a satisfactory job for year 1 of this multi-year project.

Where are his 'kvara' type of signings. This fraud robbed this club more than allegri.

Lol

He was hired by Napoli 2015. He signed Kvaradona 2022. It was a gradual process of building different competitive teams, flipping them multiple times (Insigne, Mertens, Ruiz, Koulibaly to Osimhen, Kvara, Anguissa, Kim etc). It wasn't an over night process of being hired and immediately signing world class talent like Kvara.

If we signed Kvara tomorrow from Dinamo Batumi the same people would be arguing who the fuck he was and how low the club had fallen. You cannot reason with this.

The players he signed this summer for this rebuild either get some time or it's a pointless discussion, we are changing half a squad and a coach so it's going to clearly take some time. If we're going to rate players and therefore Giuntoli after pre-season, after round 1, after round 2, round 3, then it becomes a huge waste of energy, even if I understand that the forum is basically just an outlet for frustration for some people. It's why it is quieter when we're winning, and certain members come into their element with negative news. It'd take a Conte-esque season to shake off these last few years of crap.

No no. None of that.

What if Club B refuses to raise the price? This is their final offer.
Then you go and talk to the player obviously. It's not that hard. You have 3 options... Either he changes his opinion in which case you can sell to the other team... Or he doesn't and then you can choose to keep him (and block your own incoming mercato in our case) or sell him anyway for a lower price. But again, that was NOT the case here. So, you're still whining over something that didn't happen. Or do you actually have a source that says someone bid higher?
