WhO else are we going to blame it on? The Jews?
tuz's resourceful. i for one will blame it on marotta league @Lion

no, seriously. by the end of the mercato it looked like a positive campaign. timing was questionable, we overpaid for koop and nico, vlahovic didn't have a proper backup, those things were obvious. that's why i didn't give the mercato a better grade than 7. but the age of the squad was lowered, the incoming players fit motta's system, the replacement's yearly costs were lower than the outgoing players' wages and amortization, we got rid of a few high earners, we have more passers than we had last year, koop, nico, luiz were successful key players coming from a good season, chico also had a promising previous year. for me only cabal looked like a meh signing and i wasn't too fond on thuram. cabal turned out to be an okay-ish squad player before his injury, and thuram played a few good matches lately

luiz though, that's a huge question mark. and it turns out that it wasn't allegri's outdated training methods. maybe badass jinxed colinet - and there you have it, your perfect scapegoat

So ignoring depth during the summer was fine. I knew that you will come up with something.
Ignoring or not having the means to fix everything at once are 2 different things, pal. We were already loaning and spreading payments for our starters. Let alone adequate depth...

I knew you'd ignore our reality again but our targets are still on and that's what matters. CL getting complicated 'tho.

There were 4 guys in this forum who gave 10/10 grade for his Summer Mercato.

I'm not judging. All I'm saying is there were 4 guys who gave 10/10.

Where there 4 guys Yoda?

4 guys there where.

Vlad, Abstract,Alex 444 and Prototype.
I was wrong for giving it a 10, too excited about the fact that we focused on midfielders. I would still give it an 8.5 tho. You also can't ignore that the injuries played the most important part in this season, because of that evaluating the mercato is kind of unfair.

It's all about timing and priorities. Something that you intentionally ignore and put the blame on everything but the responsibles.

It is my mistake that I re-opened a talk with you. I should have learned better.

It is about that and starters > depth (while downgrading the salaries towards reaching a stable financial state) obviously. So I guess those were set.

Clearly people here were too naive and hopeful.

Moment I saw guintoli spend 25m on 4th goalie as first signing when Malik and de siglio were around I knew it was going to be a bad year. But even I was hopeful and naive and give him a 5 which is mediocre.

Turns out it’s a nightmare season.
