I agree wit you mr G...in that Toni is a definite upgrade on Amauri. And that Zaccardo would be a definite improvement on Grygera goblin. Apologies if you already know...but we didn't get rid of Trez. He wanted to please his wife, who desired to move closer to her family...After so many years in Italy, its understandable. And we let him go for what?? 0$....As much as it helped reduce our wage bill, it also seemed like a favour of sorts to Trez, who had a decent relationship with the club. I highly doubt that Del Neri was madly eager to get rid of him, and had he stayed he would have been our starting prima punta.

But the impression I got was that Trez wanted to leave. And was allowed to leave. So the option of keeping him, or failure of keeping him...seems a little different to the reality.

All I know was Trez being linked with some clubs and saying he respected his contract which still had a year on it. Yes I do think we did him a favour, no i don't think we were in the position to give favours since our striker departement wasn't the greatest. Trez is way too professional to say he wasn't going to play, I think it was needed to keep him here and I blaim Marotta for not doing that and coming up Toni instead.

I think it was misjudgement on Amauri/Iaq quality's. Surely he shouldn't be here if he would be rotting on the bench but given the two poor finishers we have this guy would've started the majority of the games.

we are paying a portion of his wages...hopefully a small portion, not ALL his wages...as far as I knew anyway...and as he was on 4m a year or something equally heavy, even with us paying a portion of his wage still, noticeably lessened our wage bill.

hindsight is often a bothersome view...especially at Juve these last few years.

Still...I am glad he is doing well in spain, enjoying his football and hopefully happy. He gave us so much. And will never be forgotten in these parts. By the way, did he get one of the stars at the new stadium????

fuck. i didn't realize we were paying 3/4 of his full wage...I had assumed it was much less than that. Its a favour enough to allow him to leave for free for a club which would make him and his wife happier geographically, when he had a year left on his contract...but paying 3m???? thats more than a favour. Still...rather than moan about anyone, i will see it as a deserved bonus for the 7 million goals he scored for us...

We said the same thing about grygera==> Motta , also with regard to Molinaro ==> Grosso and list goes on and on.

No point in adding more average players and when we realize that they're shit + decide to get rid of them either no body wants them or they'll screw us up by staying here.
