One of the best products of the Bologna youth system, Zaccardo debuted in the first team in 2001, under the direction of coach Francesco Guidolin, immediately becoming a regular for the rossoblu and Italy's "Under 21" national team. He left Bologna in 2004 to join his former coach Guidolin in Palermo. After a season spent in Germany at VfL Wolfsburg, in August 2009 he rejoined his former coach Guidolin at Parma F.C.

He was part of the Italian squad who won the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Zaccardo made three appearances in the competition, scoring an own goal off an attempted clearance in the second azzurri match, a 1–1 draw against the United States. He has been overlooked for national team selection in tournament competitions ever since.

campioni del mondo or not, I'll sign him in a hearbeat, he can take Grygera's place asap he's been pretty good this season, not a huge fan of him but for 6 months a loan deal, I'll be happy. Let Cassani take over after that :D

Which RB can we possibly get this Jan Transfer Window when we are granted such little money.

Zaccardo is better than what we have, so I say do it if he's reasonable. If its some price out of this world, don't even bother.

Because you jinx all the hot deals it doesn't mean that I will do the same. Zaccardo is a Juve player.

You seem to like a lot of shitty Italian players.
    :shifty:

I'm sorry you rather keep the shitty Czech player? I'm not going to defend myself againt this but I sure as hell think Zaccardo is better than Grygera and in fairness I can't think of any better alternative that would become available for a loan deal and suits our budget.
