Serse Cosmi is hoping his Siena side can build on their recent victory over Inter by taking something from tomorrow afternoon’s clash with Juventus.
The 54-year-old, who took control of the Tuscan side this summer following a six-month spell with Lecce, believes it will take a Herculean effort to topple Antonio Conte’s high-flying Bianconeri.
Speaking to reporters, Cosmi said: “We’ll need to play to our maximum potential, but perhaps it might not be enough. And then we have to go beyond our limits, it’s the only way to try and get a result against a great team. We’ll be taking on extremely strong opposition.
“But in Milan these players went down in club history with Siena’s first victory at the San Siro. Tomorrow they’ve got another opportunity to accomplish a feat.”
