Chievo boss Eugenio Corini has warned his charges to brace themselves for a tough test when they welcome Juventus to the Stadio Bentegodi tomorrow.
But the 42-year-old, who is no stranger to the Bianconeri following a two-year playing spell in Turin between 1990 and 1992, maintains the Gialloblu are capable of upsetting the odds by claiming a positive result against the reigning champions.
Speaking to the media from a pre-match press conference in Verona, Corini said: “It hasn’t been a positive period in terms of results for Juventus, but they are a winning team and certain teams don’t slip up in more than one game.
“We know we’ll come under pressure and will have to battle. For this we’ll need to put in a perfect display and be at our best.
“I’m confident because I’ve seen great determination from the lads during the week. We’re ready for this game.”
