PIssed off at our CBs lately. Our experienced Italian defenders and Benatia have been playing with a supremely lackadaisical and arrogant attitude. Making countless mistakes with positioning, passing, marking. They need to get their heads out of their asses and start concentrating.

They aren't helping our build-up play either with all the stupid giveaways and bad clearances where they hoof the ball back to the other team while under little pressure. It's not just making us poor at the back, it's also neutering our ability to build into attack.

Sick of it. Start Rugani-Barza if the other 3 can't sort their shit out.
Truth be told Italian defenders often have that happen to them. We need constant pressure to perform. Unfortunately after too many performances like this it's not easy to switch mindsets right before a bigger game.

He saved us and the asses of our defence.
Or read the post of @Ocelot he's absolutely right with this:
Anyone who criticized that Dybala-Barzagli sub is pretty damn stupid

And I'm not even saying that because of my love for the great wall, Rugani for example would have done the same job. But we desperately needed that, were completely swimming the 15 minutes before the sub

Another final, good job. 3 at the back did wonders to stop Napolis attack: that's how Atalanta kept them completely cold when they won 2-0 and we barely gave Napoli a chance after we switched.

Higuain got his confidence back and scored in a massive crunch game, which is great news going into the Barca game
Benatia was hesitating like hell and far for "wonders"

Not even close. We need to close the wings and Stu were dead tire at the end so the RIGHT sub was Asa-Stu. Napoli game plan is go deep on the wing or cross the ball to the FB backs so Why do you need another CF when you problems are in the wings????? Cuz you decide there's nothing you can do to avoid that so... far for being the best choice
Lemina-Stu worked out very well

We've always scraped it but this time around especially these two napoli games where we are taking one of the best in Italy in a hostile environment we suffered immensely. Suffering is normal but this is torture and we shouldn't be in this position. I'm genuinely worried about our CL clash. Screw the delusion we seriously gonna shoot ourselves Our pride was our defence but I've yet to see a pure masterclass from them against a decent opposition, maybe it's the formation but we need to fix this ASAP. On the positive the only thing I'm ever confident of is our attack we do get the goals. It's a strange team we have when compared to the one we has in 2015. I don't give a fuck about coppa italia all that matters is we fix this shot before the CL because that is the make or break.

Napoli are such a classless club.

Weird game, overall we played better than Sunday but lost. Our defending was shambolic though.

Rincon is a defensive mid who can't defend which is worrying. Neto and Benatia are both capable of some excellent plays but it always seems like there is a mistake in them. Sturaro is useless.

Glad for Higuain. Thought Cuadrado was great and proved how important he is to play Barcelona. Barzagli sorted out some manic defending at the end.

The onslaught stopped immediately when we went into a 3-man defense: Napoli stopped scoring or creating worthwhile chances completely. Napoli's attack consists of quick midgets; you need to stack the middle to keep them quiet since all our CBs outmuscle and outheight them.

You seriously can't whine at the sub when Napoli couldnt do jack shet after it.

Didn't see parts of the game, but looks like we're still as slow as the Titanic, no game plan and nonchalant

It's time the team wakes the fuck up. I know it's a return leg and we needed to manage a lead but there's limit not exceed. More proactive, less passive

Happy we qualified, hope for improvements

A few brainfarts, defending too deep, inability to maintain possession. These are some of the glaring concerns ahead of the Barca tie. We need to stay focused at all times and not gift the opposition possession.

Dani Alves needs to keep it simple, and stop trying to do fancy shit when it's totally unnecessary. A horror show from Neto. Sturaro is a headless chicken; lots of running, but no end product. Benatia used to be good, but commits at least one massive error per game these days. Our best defender is Rugani and should start the Barca tie.

We conceded three goals, and that's a cause for concern. We switched off and allowed Napoli back into the game, gifting them a couple of goals in the space of 6 minutes!

It's great we are in the final, but unless our performances improve drastically, we are in for a rude awakening against Barca.

Oh, and Ghoulam is a fucking shitcunt, and a dirty sand nigger.

I'm agree, but the post was about how awesome was Barza-Dyba sub like if it wasn't any other choice and as I said: our problem were the wings and Lemina help us to close that wing again cuz once Stu got tired, Napoli tried to force their attack for that wing

Are you worried for the Barcelona match or do you think the importance of the game will ensure we don't get battered?
Ultimately the players were right again, we still had two goals in hand. But I don't like it because against quality opponents you can concede at any time. Nerves can kick in, red cards, all sorts can happen. Is it too much to ask to stay switched on?

Maybe it is. After all, when did we last risk dropping a 3+ goal lead? It's not happened to this team ever, I'm pretty sure of it.

I'm not worried about Barcelona in that sense. Only idiots could think that you can stand around and watch Barcelona, they have special forwards who can score even when you're defending well. If anything the PSG game should ensure players don't do that, at least for a few seasons. If they do then they deserve to be ridiculed.

Anyway, let's not talk as if we'll have a big lead. I'll be surprised if we keep a clean sheet at home.
