so near future holds something like this maybe?

cuads - De Ligt - bonucci - AS

bentancur - pjanic - rabiot

dybala - ronaldo - d costa

capable of switching between 433 and 4312. I love it and Sarriball style might actually work with that midfield/ setup

no khedira or matuidi in the center and the option for costa to drift wide at any time to devastating effect prevents teams from shutting us down so comprehensively just by clogging the middle.

again we are a bit short on quality depth and, have no alternative to costa, but this could work provided we stay injury free :baus:

Maybe, but we have played against other poor teams and looked much much worse than today. Higgy -dyb where fantastic combining together. No ronaldo ballhugging and pjanic sideways and backward passing helped make it a much more fluid game.
Yeah, but this was the B side of the poorest team we played against in Serie A so far this season. Sadly this game shows absolutely nothing about our players/team form.

Skip Bayless level takes from you.

This was by far the worst team we have played this season. A reserve side of one of the worst teams in Serie A.

We just smashed 6th place Cagliari 4-0 two matches ago, with Pjanic and Ronaldo on the pitch and the latter getting a hat trick.

So why are udinese in 12. Place than. Infront of bologna, fiorentina, sassulo, sampdoria, lecce, genoa, brescia and spal?

I liked what the midfield did today and yes would love to see these guys in most of the time while Sami and Blaise sat on the bench ..... but is it me or did Udinese looked they were playing in slow-motion? Not saying a bad side but not in it tonight. Would like to think Juve's excellent play was the reason why, but don't believe that was the exclusive reason.

Credit goes to @Post Ironic, for this insight.

"They were on the edge of the relegation zone 3 weeks ago with their "A" squad. Now they are in 12th but with the 5th worst goal difference in the league. And this was their reserves. lol

The match against Cagliari was a much better performance given the better opposition."
