Got this idea from another forum. Thought we'd discuss and post pictures of the (future/present) wonders of architecture here. I'll start with Tokyo's Sky City 1000:

A lot of modern architecture seems to get derided by locals. I think it takes some time to get a real perspective on them. There's no lack of huge engineering projects though. Japan, Hong Kong and the middle east seem to be swimming in them.
