then we shouldnt complain about results.
I don't follow. Let's say Conte and Appiah are equally good (Appiah is better, but roll with it). Then Appiah should play, cause he'll be here much longer than Conte and has the biggest potential to develop.

i dun agree... if they play as good...so there is no reason to drop Conte... i dun agree dropping players for other reason than their performance on the field.. unless the sub can play better, the starters should always start..

*waving*...hellooo :) here is another guy from this beautiful land where apes are employed as no1. gk! [LAC], you should look more often in the Location line :D

back to the topic....imo Conte is unsalable. He's doing well recently, is very passionate and his blood is black and white!! He is a symbol for JUVE for those (e.g. -Z- :) ) who like to see other symbols on the bench... So we have the great opportunity to array one symbol on the field and the other on the bench - a good trade-off :D

"Cuore, grinta è umiltà, Antonio Conte idolo degli ultrà. Grazie Capitano!"
sorry man. didnt notice. cheers! btw i think kahn's a great keeper despite his horrible mistake recently

he did some other mistakes before (e.g. the 0-1 defeat against Bochum, or the cup-defeat against Alemania Achen, where he failed to save a 25 "shot" (half shot, half assist) without any player blanking the ball) if you see that goal the "miracle Kahn" will crack down immediatly. Sure he was very good but last time he failed so often... but if a defender does an error then Kahn attacks him in public. he is not a team-player anymore, just an arrogant lunatic whose peak has been over since the 2002 WC-final.

But in my scenario they played equally good.

your right. right now he is fading away, but he will still be a legend in many ways imho. like schmeichel.

i have respect for Conte, but at the same time, just like many others at the club, his time is up. Why should he be back up when we have others out there such as Blasi and Brighi. When are these players going to get a chance in the team? We had Olivera on our bench for 1 and half seasons and he rarely played. Lippi would bring on Conte instead when Olivera could have had more chances to prove himself.

We have Appiah, Maresca, Blasi, Brighi...others on loan such as Ergic for Basel, a player who showed that he had what it takes at a high level, ie. CL. We have so much youth at our club and on loan and yet, we are going to sign on a midfielder who is 35 years of age and isnt a future prospect.

    Doesnt that annoy anyone?

Im sure i have said it before, but Conte with huge respect cos he is a juve legend, should be abench warmer in the long run.

Maybe lippi's thought is that we are soo bad defensivly that we need a little experience to help us out.

I sincerly hope he ins t a first team tho, after all dp in now club captain.

if im not mistaken olivera played for the u20 team. i could be wrong though.

actually imho lately conte has been one of our better midfielders. i think what the manager is trying to do is give them experience, as he probably thinks they are not ready for first team football at the level we are at.

i dont believe it would be a good move to bring any of those players in right now as they are not our primary concern right now.

in fact i would go as far as saying that the whole team's slump in performance is down to the defence.

Conte is too old, he's a great Juve icon. He's just too old, he's become slow and can't handle the level. Against Valeron(and Conte only played for 5 minutes or so), Conte didn't even notice he fouled Valeron. Conte lacks the neceassary handling speed nowadays.

conte is juve's heart! i would hate to see him leave us the way hierro left real madrid!!!!

he is an ICON at juventus and he plays with heart!
yes he is old! but he is also experienced and can deliver at many games!!!! he is an excellent sub that lippi could use tactically!!!

renewing his contract untill he retires is what we should do!!! besides we are paying money to players like tudor who is almost always injured! so why not pay conte!

Kengo, i totally support yr view! the way Real threw away Hierro was i'd say "very sad"!
we are not such sh*t to do this way!
Conte still plays good, he's bianconero 100% and I don't want juventus to do such mistakes. let him- true bianconero- end up his great career in the black n white shirt!
last season milan refused to keep Albertini, one of my fave players, the way they did that was disgusting.

That was really sad, they way they just dumped Hierro, especially considering how long he'd led the club, and the fact that they'd won the title the night before

i can' t imagine if Milan would do the same with Maldini??! but it's just the same situation! they lowered their honour! i have neva had a respect for such kind of actions! Real was, is and will be a bull sh*t! i told already that all these stars are money -making-machines in the arms of Peres! wish juve won't make such kind of mistake if conte wouldn't decide by himself to go away.
