Antonio Conte heaped praise on his side after a spirited fightback saw off a strong Milan outfit to set up a mouthwatering Coppa Italia semi-final tie with Lazio.
The manager’s decision to bring Vucinic off the bench in the second half paid dividends as Juventus avenged Sunday’s defeat to Sampdoria in resounding fashion.
Addressing reporters after the final whistle, Conte said: “The lads knew what happened on Sunday should never happen again, not so much the defeat itself but for the manner in which it came.
“Today I had a great response from everyone, in particular from those who have had less opportunities to show what they can do.
“Milan are a great team and sent out their best available starting line-up. We were determined to go through to the next round and managed to do so. Credit to Storari who pulled off a great save at the end.”
