well im not saying that but they are not as rich as morrati or berlusconi.
WHAT??????? are you misinformed, my friend. Forbes 500 consider Agnelli`s family as the wealthiest family in Europe( not considering crowned families). The fact that they are reserved, conservative and low profile doesnt mean they are much richer than Berlusconi and Moratti.

Agnelli created Juventus to be a self-suficcient organization: we buy cheap and sell expensive...we spend cautiosly...we dont ask for loans.....we pay players in time...we are juventus..;)

Wealthier than Berlusca? I don't think so...
And you'd be right...

Italy's richest (in bilions $ (est))

Silvio Berlusconi 10
Leonardo Del Vecchio 6.9
Luciano Benetton & family 4.5
Giorgio Armani 2.2
Agnelli family 2.1

The Agnelli family were once the wealthiest (and most influencial) in italy but with the collapse of fiat and numerous other poor dealings plus having lost their influence over the italian goverment they are now relative minnows with unfortuanately worse times to come

Does anyone know here when the next Italian elections are? And what are Berlusconi's chances of winning?

Paul, did you happen to see "Citizen Berlusconi"? If so, what did you think of it? Fairly accurate in terms of describing his influence on the media and government?

To me it was a fairly pessimistic perspective, I didn't know he was that powerful. And he's so well positioned that noone should be able to threaten his position for some time to come.

Yeah it was, that was a few months ago. But it was shown on tv a while before that.
