here is Satriani's song. I never heard it before. It's pretty good tbh.
I love Coldplay's Viva la Vida. You can see some similarity in one of the guitar solos, thats about it. I don't think it's enough to say Coldplay plagiarized. It's coincidental imo.

it's one of the best songs on his album. the album itself though, is not one of his best.

Green Day was a good a band, but wasn't one of my favorites.
yep they WERE really pissed me off that i followed them for 14 years then they release the commercial as hell A.I album and suddenly everybody loves them:rolleyes:

coldplay musically are a very good band but they had settled into a rythmic rut, X+Y was a carbon copy of parachutes, fix you= the scientist, speed of sound=clocks,etc...at least now they a re trying something a little different.

but to say there are no good bands now as some are saying is foolish, bloc party are superb and lyrically they are streets ahead of most groups. but i suppose is depends on what type of music you like, the punk lover in me loves the futureheads, the indie kid in me loves arctic monkeys, ian brown, the rock lover in me loves the subways. good music is out there you just need to look for it
