Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono has paid tribute to the work done by his counterpart ahead of Saturday night’s game against Juventus. The 49-year-old, in his second spell with the Nerazzurri, believes that his team will need to be at their very best to stand any chance of halting the Bianconeri’s unbeaten run.
Colantuono said: “Juventus are a very strong team. I’d already said at the start of the year that they’d be fighting for the title. They’re a very strong side because they’re able to combine quality and humility. The Bianconeri put in the yards and everyone helps out defensively. Vucinic is a fine example of this, in the past he wasn’t inclined to defend, now he comes back to help the defensive line. For that, the credit goes to Conte. Unbeaten opposition? No-one’s unbeatable, but to win we’ll have to play the perfect game, without getting anything wrong. We must play as we did against Milan and forget Sunday’s first half against Lazio. But I’ll let my players have that, after the first half of the season we’ve had.”
