    Now, it's official:

Mirante & Gastaldello on loan to Sampdoria

Mirante, who will turn 24 on Sunday, joins on loan for one season with Sampdoria having an option to sign him on permanent basis next summer. Last season he was the cover for Gianluigi Buffon at Juventus, and played seven games in Serie B as the Turin giants won promotion. He had previous loan spells at FC Crotone Calcio and AC Siena, where he played 26 Serie A games in 2005/06. Gastaldello, 24, also has plenty of top-flight experience, having made 45 league appearances over the last two campaigns while on loan at Siena. Like Mirante, he came through the ranks at Juventus but never made it to the Bianconeri first team.

Official? Y are we giving the an option to buy half for Giovinco? I cant find the reasoning behind that.
Maybe Empoli feel that if he's only on loan they know he'll go back to Juve and won't benefit of getting him on loan hence they wouldn't play him.

I say, if he's good then they'd play him anyway, loan or not right?

I dont see any connection between having an option to buy his half and playing him while is he loaned to them!!!
As u said, if he is good, then he'll play with Empoli...

Rights to buy.. It just means they have an edge over other clubs that would want to buy Giovinco. If both offer the same price, he goes to Empoli.

If we want Giovinco back, we'll get him back easily enough.

Next few hours is when it might be confirmed or not but Nocerino should stay though. Don't blame Secco for everything we do bad in the market, he's the one off in Spain and other countries looking for players to get us back to the top. Its not like he isn't trying either, Zaragoza were being really difficult over the Milito deal which you can hardly blame Alessio for. 16million is a lot of money which we could spend on two players who can be as good or better then the one we were after.
