So happy Infantino gave us a Moroccan and a UAE side in the group. At least no group stage exit this time.

Anything else that follows now is a bonus for me.
Pretty much expected trashing of these shit teams. Im disappointed we conceded here. Our defense is woeful. Kelly has no business playing for us. Walking disaster. Okay performance but nothing to brag about. Bottom placed teams in Serie A would walk all over these 2 sides. I will keep my expectations low since our side has too many weaknesses that a better side will take advantage of.

Decent second half. Should have been far more comfortable than it was. We switched off for their goal, which gave them momentum and made us nervy but the 3rd goal finished the game.

Yildiz was excellent, even without his goals he linked play well and put in a shift defensively.

Our defence is a massive weak link that needs to be fixed for next season.

Bremer will be a massive upgrade. But we will need another CB, preferably left footed one. We cannot go into a season with Gati and Kelly as our options.

Was more of a competitive game than the first. We switched off a few times, but I can kind of get that when we're playing at the end of fucking June in 30 degrees against a Moroccan team. I think it's right that the 'stronger' teams are being forced to play to a level of match speed by the less favoured teams who are desperate to do well, it's just a bit of a shit situation for a lot of the players.

At least Yildiz is grabbing the opportunity with both hands, making the most of more spaces than he'd get in league football.

We look shaky at the back still but that's going to be the case unless we sign more quality or Bremer comes back to his best.

If Tudor 'likes' Kelly, we're in for a long season
