Ranieri: 'Mourinho feared me'

Claudio Ranieri is top of the Premier League with Leicester City and has some interesting theories about Jose Mourinho.
The Italian manager is the surprise of the campaign in England and a victory over Chelsea saw his old nemesis Mou depart Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho hurled insults at Ranieri over the years, but there is no desire for revenge.
“Do you want to know the truth, the whole truth? I am truly disappointed for him,” Ranieri told dagospia.com.
“He said those things because he was afraid of me. That’s what Mourinho does, it’s his method with the opponent he wants to beat.
“Then, when I arrived here at Leicester, he was the first to send me a welcome message. When I embraced him at the end of the match, I was sincere.
“At this moment we are the anomaly, thanks also to the fact none of the big clubs are playing at the right level, but it cannot last. I am convinced, for example that Chelsea will climb back up quickly and I am also impressed with my friend Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.”
Ranieri was also asked about his beloved Roma, who are struggling under Rudi Garcia.
“I know what we’re like at Roma, we want everything right away. At this moment the players have lost confidence, but I saw that after Alessandro Florenzi’s goal they all ran to hug the Coach.
“I am convinced they’ll do well from now on. It is right to continue with Rudi Garcia.”
