Ranieri: No grudge against Juve

Thursday 10 December, 2009
Roma boss Claudio Ranieri insists he didn't receive the news of Juventus's knock out from the Champions League on Tuesday night as sweet revenge.

The Bianconeri lost 4-1 to Bayern Munich, their heaviest home defeat since 1967, and now could face Roma in the Europa League.

Juventus fired Ranieri in May after nearly two years in charge and replaced him with rookie Coach Ciro Ferrara.

Speaking at an awards ceremony, Ranieri said: “There is no revenge with Juventus in Europe. I am happy here in Rome.

“I don't have anything to get off my chest. I am in Rome, in my city and I lead my team. It couldn't be better,” he concluded.

Ranieri isn't the only former trainer Juventus could meet in the next round of the Europa League.

Didier Deschamps's Marseille also dropped out of the Champions League at the expense of Real Madrid and Milan.

If he wants Juve fans to forgive him, he could do us all a huge favour and buy Molinaro, we can give him away for free if he promises not to be present in a radius of 50Kms from Turin

But Molinaro hardly even play, and his wages are probably fuck all anyway..

oh, and if we had CR in charge last game, you would probably say:

fucking boring 442, but win is win, and we would be in CL still

true?

I don't get why there are still bitter feelings at Ranieri. I was angry with his choices when he was here and I was happy he got canned but I like him, he seems like a nice guy as long as he isn't coaching a team you care about

With the team he had, he did a good job. Not a fantastic one but a good one. If you want to fire ranieri your supposed to get a proven manager who could take us further, not take us backwards

The way we parted was not quite professional, he asked for more money than he should take and did make a lot of bitter remarks after this.

Anyways, i think its time to close this thread, soon Ferrara will be our former coach and CR just ancient history...

He asked for more money? This is news to me, but if you are criticizing him for not giving up his wages like Spalleti did than you are naive.

Won against Real, Milan, Inter and the lots too... If you think only the players were responsible for those victories, you are naive...

He asked for money as we qualified for CL so money which he earned, which is exactly what you said.

Read post above...and think, DP "saved us" against Inter, but where were Trez, DP to save us against Bayern, Bari?? Do we depend always on one player?
How come in 2 years only once we lost with 2 goals difference and that was thanks to penalties and ref mistakes against Napoli i think?

Did we loose 5 times so far with more than 1 goal difference?

And how come with better players this season we doing worse?

Dont be xxx
