thats what i've been screaming about

i'm pretty sure that the consensus is that ranieri is not a winner and thus he can never install a winning mentality in grand club such as juventus. we do need a winner to breed success and entice other talented players to want to play for juventus again. i'm tired of debating on who should start between marchionni and marchisio

You don't need "a proven winner". You need someone who has a decent record, maybe mid table, that coaches teams to play above their stature. The most important part is his ambition. Ranieri plays as if he is afraid to lose. You guys need a manager that will coach the team to play as if they can win or have to win every game. The players Juve have will respond to such motivation. If the presence of Del Piero and Buffon aren't enough to motivate a player then he doesn't belong on the pitch.

are you insinuating a prandelli or a spalletti type?
I think so. I don't think you guys need a Mourino or Mancini or Shuster. If Juve is to really claim a new identity then they need a new coach. And the top two questions on the interview list ought to be: Do you want to build the club? and Do you want win?

Guys lets make some petition so the club management can consider of how the way they think so we can get rid OFF! ranieri from our beloved team, im really tired of him...we need a world class coach like guus Hiddink...you all see how he change a team like chelsea, from the system of how they play and the mentality....
a coach is definetely have a big big influence from the team progress, so lets spent the money for world class coach and after that we can down to a star player..WE START FROM A SCRATCH BUT WITHOUT RANIERI!!

Is such a big mystery and a mission impossible when we have such a team management like this...GOSH JUST FIND A COACH AT SAME CLASS LIKE HIDDINK!!!!!!

i cant barely stand to see juve finish the season off without a title....PLEASE SACK RANIERI PLEASE Im 100% very sure we gonna be different and better without him

i think we need a guy who can coach (to win) but also reel in the big talent. no one can win with what we have right now
You guys also need a coach that isn't going to be looking for the next big thing. Or a cold feet manager that moves on every few years.

What Juve don't need is to go back to the mercenary trash they had playing under Capello. They need to develop the Primavera and become what Inter and Milan are not. A great Italian team.

I think he's going to stick with the Russians. Hiddink is so crazy though, he moves all over the place. Juve need someone for the long haul.

I'm not sure I get that. What we did in the 90's was look past THE big thing in players such as Dugarry and ended up with the next best thing in the unknown player for Bordeaux (don't have to mention his name). Problem is, we don't have the money right now to be buying world class players for many positions, so we do have to work hard in finding great young players and those who are overlooked by other clubs.

I'm not talking about players. I'm saying that Juve don't want a coach that is going to use them as a launching pad.

Well if Juventus want long term success they need a coach that will focus on the team instead of his "next team".
Well of course, I agree there.

It would be strange if a manager would actually be thinking of doing that while signing a contract with us, however. I mean, have we really turned into a small club during this past few years? :(

:cough,cough: Claudio Ranieri.

No offense, but Juventus of 2009 doesn't really instill the respect or fear that the pre-Calciapoli Juve did. Juve is good but it doesn't have the same image that is used to. And the man that gets them back over the top is going to a god amongst managers. Anyone who takes Juve back to the top of the world will be able to get a job almost anywhere. Juve need the coach that will take Juve to the next level and want more. One who realizes that the club is more than the euros he makes in a year.
