We are currently 3rd(and in danger of being knocked out of the top 4) in a league that might not have a single representative in the CL's quarter finals after tonight. It just goes on to show how poor a job Ranieri's done.

Secco Slams Ranieri Sack Talk As A 'Joke’

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has angrily hit out at those who say that coach Claudio Ranieri should be sacked, and also rubbishes the accusations that the team lacks creativity.

Ranieri has come under heavy fire since the 3-2 home defeat to Fiorentina at the weekend, a result which means that Juve have picked up just one point in their last three games.

With the Bianconeri’s Champions League qualification hopes now in the balance, many supporters have been calling for 'the Tinkerman’ to be sacked.

"The talk about a dismissing Ranieri is a joke,” blasted Secco.

“The coach has done very well up to now and certainly there's no reason to change the judgement on him.

"We have unity of purpose, goals, desire for redemption, we are fully entitled to continue the journey with him."

The Juventus team this season has also been heavily criticised for its lack of creativity, with the observation being that there are too many defensive midfielders, and not enough flair players. Secco strongly disagrees with this assessment.

"A team that occupies third place in the standings is not there only through physical strength and determination," he pointed out. "Juventus also have good technical quality, if we didn't we wouldn't be third.”

i think the only way to send the board a message if that all Juventus stop going to home games and decrease by each game...Then Gigli would look at the numbers see that they are not matched up and start thinking what the board did wrong...but this plan is awful in a sense that juventus fans love to see the players not the board

I'm getting sick of hearing the 'we're in 3rd place' bullshit all the time. Yeah, you know what? There's still 12 games to go and I'd like to see him so smug when we slip out of the top 4 places at the end of the season.*

*I actually don't hope to see it because I hope we do finish in the top 4.

The warning was for the colourful language you used for them, which even though is how all fans might describe the board, remains something that is against the forum rules. And no im not a fan of the managment or the coach.

Maybe you cant,But if we dont qualify for the CL,it would make us look worse than the situation actually is because the people out there will go 'oh thats the club that couldn finish in the top 4 of this league?.The failure of Italian teams in Europe this season makes finishing outside the top 4 more poor than it actually is.

Headline should read:

Secco: "I am incompetent"

What a complete idiot, if he thinks that we are covered for creativity i hate to imagine what cock-ups he will make in the latest instalment of "Secco's laughable transfer dealings - the series"
