it's strange to see how all you attack CR, and before he was great. you all forgot one thing, Juve in January, with Capello or Lippi, struggles, and that not new now to me with CR. give the man a chance, he is selected the best manager in Serie A.

Belardi Praises Ranieri
Juventus reserve goalkeeper Emanuele Belardi has praised Coach Claudio Ranieri, although he admits that he and his team-mates could have lost to Cagliari yesterday.

Belardi has filled in for the injured Gianluigi Buffon in Juve’s last two league games, and he has nothing but words of praise for Ranieri for giving him his chance.

“I have to thank Ranieri most of all for this moment, I'm really happy to have hooked up with him,” said the 30-year-old.

Juventus were involved in a desperately disappointing 1-1 draw with bottom-of-the-table Cagliari yesterday afternoon.

In truth the Bianconeri were perhaps fortunate to even come away with a point as the away side missed a series of glorious chances to win the match.

“If we'd scored early maybe it would have gone differently,” said Belardi regretfully.

"We were a bit soft, slow and predictable. Near the end we went forward too much leaving the defence open and we could even have lost.”

Cagliari almost grabbed a winner when a mistake by new signing Momo Sissoko eventually led to Michele Canini finding himself all alone with just Belardi to beat.

The young defender’s shot was half-saved before Belardi scampered back to stop the shot on the line.

"When I made the save on Canini I must say I was also lucky,” the ex-Reggina man admitted.
